Description:
Due to the expansion of their operations division, an exciting opportunity has become available with our client who are seeking a Wholesale Manager for their operations/wholesale kitchen facility based in Melbourne.

Our client prepares fresh daily food items using quality ingredients which are then conveniently packaged as grab-and-go meals and for catering purposes.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily wholesale operations to ensure all orders are fulfilled and meet customers’ specifications
• Evaluate and review continual process improvements in all aspects of the wholesale operations
• Be proactive in identifying and resolving business-critical needs
• Analyse sales data and operational performance to meet the company’s financial objectives, with a keen focus on overall profitability
• Assist management with budget analysis and planning
• Foster strong client partnerships with key client liaisons to deliver mutually rewarding outcomes
• Effectively communicate with all stakeholders and report KPI performance to management on a regular basis
• Hire, recruit and train all key wholesale personnel
• Assist management to establish KPIs for all wholesale personnel
• Assist management with annual performance reviews of all wholesale personnel against KPIs and operational standards
• Develop a succession plan strategy to ensure uninterrupted business continuity
• Assist management to lead, manage and develop long-term wholesale strategies

About you:

• Possess analytical skills, is a resourceful and proactive forward thinker
• Ability to adapt to constant change & manage multiple priorities
• Proven ability to lead, coach and mentor teams
• Have a customer first mentality and can-do attitude

Ideally you will have 3 years + experience working in the FMCG industry with tertiary qualifications preferred but not essential (Food Safety experience highly advantageous).
