Supply Chain Manager

Salary: $140,000 - $150,000 Location: VIC - Melbourne Ref: NI/30123
Description: Our client is a well-established family owned business that has experienced year on year growth over the last 70 years! Famed for high-end top-quality products, they supply into all the major retailers alongside the food service industry. This is an opportunity with a well-known food manufacturer based in North Melbourne for an experienced Supply Chain Manager.

In this role you will be using your Supply Chain and purchasing experience in FMCG/food manufacturing to effectively improve processes in their capacity to supply product to forecast. Combined with overseeing inventory management and scheduling projects, the end goal is to trigger corrective actions resulting in increased DIFOT while reducing waste. A confident SAP user, you will be able to use your skills to get the systems working for you.

In this role you will:
• Meet business objectives through establishing an effective supply planning process
• Develop an extensive supply chain dashboard focused on sales forecasts, inventory, production, and scheduling
• Mentor and develop supply planning and purchasing team
• Address all import documents and ensure ongoing compliance
• Collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders to achieve required results: directors, executives, management, and staff
• Adhere to WHS standards and procedures at all times in accordance with legislature and company guidelines
• Other duties as required

In order to be considered for this opportunity, you must meet the following criteria:
• Demonstrable experience within FMCG supply chain roles
• High energy and determination to succeed
• Previous dashboard creation, inventory management from forecasting experience is essential
• Significant leadership experience and skills
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Extremely process driven with the ability to create and interpret statistical information
• Experience with SAP is desirable
