Description: Osborne Richardson are food manufacturing specialists working throughout all of Australia. We have been exclusively appointed to source our client a Recruitment Specialist. Based in beautiful Bundaberg, our client is a national institution, producing a much-loved product sold around the world.

This is also a great location to base yourself if you’d like to explore the rest of Queensland. Great holiday locations such as the picturesque town 1770 and the world-renowned Fraser Island are possible for weekends away.

Key Responsibilities:-

• End to end recruitment for our business globally
• Developing role specific recruitment campaigns, ensuring each position has a targeted approach appropriate for the role
• Supporting and training the Hiring Managers with guidance on role interviewing techniques
• Conducting and scheduling interviews, background checks and onboarding activities
• Reporting of recruitment activities to the Senior HR Manager
• Represent the BBD brand reflecting and supporting the company values
• Completing safety inductions with all new employees and labour hire contractors
• Mentor new apprentices and trainees
To be successful in the position you will have:
• HR or similar relevant business tertiary qualifications
• 3-5 years of experience as a recruiting specialist with a track record of employee placement and retention
• Demonstrated end to end recruitment across a variety of positions ( you will be asked to provide examples)
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact and relate with individuals from diverse backgrounds
• Experience coaching hiring managers through best practice recruitment methodologies
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Understanding of safety and inductions
• High attention to detail
• Upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
• Team player
• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines
• Someone who will help other team members ( Muck In)
