Osborne Richardson are delighted to have been sought out, once again, by NSW State Government to assist with another key leadership role. On this occasion, we are assisting a community based agency with a vacant Leasing Manager position.

Your new Leasing Manager role will commence ASAP and run until January 2023, to cover a current vacancy within the organisation. With this in mind, there is obviously huge potential for the role to continue onwards or even transition into a permanent role within the team. No guarantees of course but make yourself indispensable during the contract term and you might just make it happen!!

As the Leasing Manager, you will be an integral part of the team and their vision for transforming workplaces. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Workplace Strategy, you will be responsible for effective and efficient contract negotiations and executions for the leased office portfolio with a focus on setting a new standard in office accommodation for staff. You will lead a small, dynamic team to ensure the optimisation of our leased portfolio. Working across NSW with valued stakeholders, and collaboratively with partners at Property & Development NSW, you will be the key advisor and guide for all things leasing. You will be responsible for managing and negotiating office leases across the portfolio of over 400 leases to meet strategic goals. In this role you will be responsible for identifying opportunities within the assets and leased footprint to transform workplaces.

There will also be flexibility in workplace location (NSW only) and working days, so please feel free to apply if you are located anywhere within NSW. We want you to get to know the wider stakeholders and assets, so local travel and regional travel will be required from your location.

To be successful in this role you will:
• Have previous experience in managing and negotiating commercial leases
• Be excited by and appropriately use evidence-based data to analyse and report key metrics for lease performance
• Have previously implemented risk management strategies to limit organisational liability relative to office accommodation
• Enjoy building relationships and engaging with stakeholders, committed to providing a customer-focused culture
• Previous experience managing and coaching people
• Hold a strong ability to complete own work tasks under guidance within set budgets, timeframes and standards.
• Demonstrate an understanding of methodologies and supporting technologies related to project management
• It is an essential requirement of the role that successful applicants will have up to date COVID vaccinations
