Description: Public Sector specialists Osborne Richardson are partnering with Queensland's State Government to bring you this exciting opportunity.

The states leading vocational education and training body are seeking the services of an experienced Content and Assessment Writer.

With locations widespread throughout Queensland, this opportunity will be a fully remote / wfh role with candidates both in Queensland and inter-state to be considered.

This role will be on an initial 4-month full-time contract with ongoing extension possibilities through to June 2023, set to start immediately.



The Content & Assessment Writer will be responsible for:

Designing, developing and updating learning content and assessment tools ensuring they meet the requirements of the relevant Training Package or VET accredited qualification.
Contributing to the ongoing quality of learning and assessment resources by providing expert advice to respond to client needs and delivery outcomes.
Working effectively with key subject matter experts across industry areas to ensure assessment meets client and industry expectations.
Actively participating in validation of assessment activities.
Providing ongoing guidance, feedback and support to subject matter experts to ensure their understanding of quality requirements.
Undertaking research to ensure assessment is appropriate to addressing unit of competency requirements.

To be considered for these roles, you will have;

Good working knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) guidelines, Standards for Training Packages, Standards for RTOs 2015 and able to interpret and understand Training Package or VET accredited qualification units of competency and assessment requirements.
Significant experience in developing content, both accredited and non-accredited, and assessment tasks including observation checklists, third party reports and workplace simulations and associated mapping processes.
Demonstrated ability to engage with and effectively support educational staff across the organisation to implement quality improvement processes in relation to learning and assessment, including the ability to accept and provide constructive feedback.
TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Experience in Assessment writing is an advantage
