Principal Project Manager – Cyber Security Program (Public Sector)

We are recruiting on behalf of our public sector client for an experienced Principal Project Manager to lead a large-scale, complex cyber security project. This is an exciting opportunity to drive the successful delivery of information security solutions that will support modern healthcare services and enhance cyber security across the organisation.

About the Role:
As Principal Project Manager, you will manage the end-to-end delivery of a complex cyber security project. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the project is completed on time, within scope, and in line with performance criteria. You’ll be working closely with key internal and external stakeholders, leading a multidisciplinary team, and promoting best practice in project management to achieve quality outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the successful delivery of a large-scale cyber security project, adhering to project management methodologies.
Manage project resources, budgets, risks, and timelines, ensuring performance targets are met.
Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, facilitating communication and managing expectations.
Provide leadership in change management to ensure successful adoption of security solutions.
Monitor and report on project trends, performance, and outcomes.

About You:

You are an experienced project manager with a proven track record of delivering large, complex projects, ideally within the cyber security or IT sector. You have strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor teams and drive change. Your excellent stakeholder management and communication abilities enable you to influence key players and ensure project success.

Key Skills & Experience:
Proven experience managing large-scale cyber security projects, including endpoint protection solutions.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (PRINCE2 preferred).
Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
High-level communication, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities.
Experience leading and developing multidisciplinary teams.
