Demand Analyst - Food Manufacturing

Description: We are privileged to be working with our Brisbane based client who is an absolute market leader. Their loyal customer base spans the globe and is directly attributable to their excellent product range, made with pride and care. 8 years of constant expansion has seen the Demand Planning role split between an International and Domestic focus. This new role will concern itself with providing a central demand planning function for the Australian and New Zealand market and play a business critical function in enabling their growth to continue in a controlled and predictable manner.

This role will work very closely with Sales, Supply and Customers to improve forecast accuracy, paving the way for increased efficiency and profitability across the business.

Duties will include:

Develop short, medium and long term demand plan horizons
Facilitate weekly and monthly demand reviews process
Pressure testing of sales and challenge sales inputs where necessary
Play active role in process improvement
Detailed trending analysis utilising multiple market data sources
Baseline, promotional and seasonal forecasting
Work closely with retailers and distributors to build future forecasts and demand in line with promotions and events
Develop new production development demand plans

The successful applicant will have:

Strong experience in Demand Planning in food/beverage or FMCG manufacturing
Experience with Demand Planning systems
Exposure to retail analytics
High level interpersonal skills
Excellent organisational and analytical abilities
Exposure to IBP/S&OP an advantage
Large retailer key account experience
