Planning & Scheduling Manager - Food Manufacturing

Description: Our client is one of the largest suppliers of this health food globally and is they are experiencing a raft of changes, consolidating their position as market leader. This business critical role will control the process from start to finish and scope exists for you to further develop the role.

Working closely with the GM, this role will focus on the management, control and maintenance of the sales forecast, analysis of forecast production and providing relevant information to Operations to enable management of production planning and scheduling. The position will also play a key part in the implementation of new information systems and data migration.

Responsibilities will include:

Updating Production forecast data
Update actual sales data
Extract and prepare forecast data for board reports
Enter new sales data to ensure sales balance against production
Provide scheduling information to Operations
Co-ordinate production planning and scheduling
Analyse customer credit limit requirements

Requirements:

Experience in planning and scheduling within an FMCG environment (food/beverage)
Advanced level of expertise in MS Excel
Very high level of attention to detail
Strong organisational and communication skills
Experience with ERPs e.g. SAP
