Environmental Scientist - Local Governement
Osborne Richardson are specialist technical recruiters to local councils throughout all of Australia.
We are delighted to be searching on behalf of Sydney's largest metropolitan council for an Parks Environmental Engineer.
This is a 12 month contract with the possibility of further extension.
Working across all the city parks you will be responsible for the management all things contaminated land related, recycled water and landfill emissions.
You will also launch, coordinate and manage all environmental projects, not only that, you will have a proactive approach to ensure the council is one stop ahead of all emerging issues.
What are we looking for in the applications for this role?
We need to see resumes from environmental scientists, or engineering but with a specific background in hydrology, water quality, contaminated land or air quality.
You will be an expert across all environmental legislation and you will be able to manager multiple projects at any one time.
Finally, you will have strong communications skills, you will be required to draw out key findings from complex reports and be able to simplify your findings in order for your key stakeholders to be informed of relevant issues.
