Must have Meat Manufacturing experience

Are you an experienced QA professional ready to step into a leadership role with a high-performing food manufacturing business?  This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Quality function and drive best practice across a large-scale operation supplying premium products to both domestic and international markets.

About the Role

As Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee the site’s Quality Management System and lead a skilled QA team.

You’ll ensure compliance with customer, statutory and regulatory standards, while supporting operations to achieve efficiency, yield, and continuous improvement outcomes.

This role requires a strong leader who can balance compliance with commercial objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the QA function, ensuring effective quality systems are maintained
  • Oversee internal and external audits, customer requirements, and compliance programs
  • Respond to customer complaints with root cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Develop and coach QA staff to build a high-performing, compliant team
  • Partner with production leaders to drive process improvements and support operational goals
  • Report on quality KPIs, trends, and outcomes to senior management
About You
  • 7+ years’ QA experience within food manufacturing, ideally in a senior leadership capacity
  • Tertiary qualifications in Food Science/Technology (or related discipline)
  • Proven track record implementing and maintaining robust QA systems
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Results-driven with excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
