About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Operations Manager to oversee their nursery and grow-out site, ensuring efficient operations, compliance, and continuous improvement. This is a key leadership role requiring strong financial acumen, a deep understanding of health and safety regulations, and a track record of managing large teams.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage day-to-day operations across multiple aquaculture sites
* Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Develop and implement operational strategies to enhance efficiency and sustainability
* Oversee financial performance, budgeting, and cost control
* Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize productivity and quality
* Lead and mentor teams, fostering a high-performance culture
* Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements
What We’re Looking For:
* 5+ years of operational management experience in aquaculture or seafood processing
* Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and cost control
* Proven leadership capabilities with experience managing large teams
* In-depth understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
* Ability to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement
* Strong communication and stakeholder management skill
