About the role:

The Senior Business Analyst will perform a range of business analyst activities for various projects working closely with the Project Manager, Principal Business Analyst and other technical team members.

Responsibilities:
• Engage and communicate with staff at all levels and disciplines across the organisation, to ensure business requirements and functional solutions are articulated, documented, and translated into solutions that are fit for purpose.
• Perform business requirements analysis by evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and communicating and documenting business requirements and the functional solutions.
• Liaise, consult and negotiate effectively with a range of stakeholders across the enterprise, including the coordination of activities associated with achieving the successful delivery of projects.
• Develop, review and/or update program or project/s documentation and registers as directed in support of the delivery of program or project deliverables.

Experience:
• Demonstrated business analysis ability, significant stakeholder management experience, excellent organisational skills, appropriate detail focus with the ability to see the bigger picture.
• Ability to analyse complex business processes and IT systems, identify inefficiencies, and propose improvements. Strong skills in analysing and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional specifications are essential.
• Clear and effective communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all organisational levels. This includes verbal and written communication, as well as the ability to translate technical jargon into plain English.
• Strong communication skills to liaise with team members, project teams, stakeholders, and clients. Ability to negotiate and consult effectively, fostering positive working relationships and collaborating with diverse groups.
• Ability to think critically and develop creative solutions to business and systems challenges.
• 5-10+ year's demonstrated experience working in a similar capacity on ICT projects.
