Description:
We are seeking a Project Advisor (Document Control) for our Public Sector client to implement and maintain document control systems within a contract management framework. This is a full-time, 12-month contract position with a possible extension based at Nerang.

Key Responsibilities include:

Implement and maintain an efficient document control system for technical drawings, files, correspondence, and reports

Develop and maintain filing conventions and a record management system for the project.

Liaise with counterpart document control functions to ensure effective system implementation.

Understand and apply contractual obligations related to document control under the Project Deed.

Establish and maintain consistent and user-friendly electronic filing structures across various systems.

Liaise with database software companies and implement necessary program upgrades for the Document Management System (DMS) and other project databases.

Train colleagues on the Department's DMS and promote compliance with records management policies.

Provide leadership and guidance on departmental record-keeping requirements and promote good document management practices.

Ensure data accuracy and consistency in the DMS for easy retrieval by project team members.

Actively participate in the project team, including reporting and attending meetings.

About You
Skills Required:

Proven experience in document control within a project environment.

Strong understanding of record management principles and practices.

Excellent organisational and communication skills.

Proficiency in using Document Management Systems (DMS).

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

A current Class ‘C’ Drivers Licence
