We are seeking a proactive and experienced Work Health and Safety (WHS) Coordinator to take ownership of our safety systems and help drive a positive safety culture across the business.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement and maintain WHS policies, procedures, and systems in line with legislation and company standards
Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and inductions for all staff and contractors
Support continuous improvement initiatives to reduce workplace injuries and incidents
Prepare and submit WHS reports and documentation to internal stakeholders and regulators
What We’re Looking For:
Minimum Cert IV in Work Health and Safety
At least 2 years' experience in a similar WHS role, ideally within food manufacturing or a similar fast-paced environment
Solid understanding of WHS legislation, risk management, and injury prevention strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills – confident working with teams at all levels
Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and a solutions-focused mindset
