Description:
We are seeking an experienced Production Supervisor on behalf of a food manufacturing client based on the stunning eastern coast of southern Victoria. This company is a leader in their field supplying products to major retailers nationally. This is an excellent opportunity to utilise your skills to drive daily production and ensure processes are efficient, budgets met and safety and customer satisfaction levels are maintained.In this role you will:
• Identify and implement continuous improvement procedures
• Provide support to the Operations Manager and guide the focus of team to ensure production targets are developed and met efficiently
• Enforce a product quality focus amongst all team members
• Oversee adherence to all company and legislative WHS standards
• Lead production team by example
The successful applicant will have:
• Relevant experience in a food manufacturing or FMCG role; chilled foods experience is highly desirable but not essential
• High attention to detail and strong communication skills (both written and oral)
• Sound business acumen
• Hands-on leadership style and the ability to build and motivate strong and efficient teams
