Osborne Richardson continues to bring quality Engineering roles to the market and we are excited about this great new opportunity.One of South East Queensland's leading local councils has a fantastic opportunity within their Transport Engineering ranks for a Senior Engineer on an initial 4 month contract.
You would be responsible in the managing the development of a series of traffic and transport programs for inclusion within Council's capital works program.
Along with providing specialist traffic engineering technical knowledge and advice the role will entail liaising with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that best value integrated transport outcomes are achieved and meet the needs of the local community and are in line with council’s long term strategic vision.
To be considered for this role;
- Degree qualification in civil engineering, traffic engineering or other relevant field. - -
- Sound understanding of Australian Road Rules, Austroads and awareness of Australian Standards pertaining to traffic engineering.
- Demonstrated skills in traffic engineering and management related to urban and rural road networks and a demonstrated high level of knowledge and previous experience in traffic planning, design and operations.
- Current C class driver’s licence.
