We are seeking several new Officers for this team, including Compliance Advisors (band 9/10) and Compliance Specialists (Band 7/8). In these roles, you will join on initial 3 month contracts and be bestowed with a fantastic hourly rate in line with the banding outlined above.

In the Compliance Advisor role you will provide support to the Head of Compliance, in addition to the Compliance Managers, to help ensure the various legal, regulatory and internal policy obligations are met through the implementation of the Compliance Management Policy and assisting in the development and implementation managed compliance processes, including compliance incident management and responding to information access requests.

In the Compliance Specialist roles, you will provide in-depth support to the Compliance Advisors through collection and review of information which has been requested under GIPA or the NSW Privacy Legislation.

Throughout your role you will have a multitude of key duties, which will include:

Undertaking research to identify the laws, regulations, external requirements and internal policies impacting the organisation.
Acting as an information source to the business to anticipate regulatory requirements and to support an accurate interpretation and application of new regulations.
Undertaking a thorough analysis to identify the organisation's obligations and develop an obligations register, which identifies the obligation owners, defines the obligation and describes its impact on icare.
Partnering with compliance obligation owners to support the business in meeting its obligations on a day to day basis.
Assisting with a compliance risk assessment of each of the organisation's obligations to determine the highest to lowest rated compliance risks.
Conducting monitoring, assurance and testing of the control environment and prepare reports of the results for the Compliance Managers and/or Head of Compliance.
Assisting with investigations of reportable breaches and incidents including assessment of impact of breach, root cause analysis and provide advice to the business on improvement opportunities.
Assisting with the development and implementation of a enterprise-wide self-assessment and assurance system..

A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree; or equivalent experience for the Compliance Advisor roles. 5 years' experience for the Compliance Specialist roles.
Experience in compliance and/or risk frameworks.
Experience as compliance practitioner, ideally in the insurance (or care) sector.
A range of experience in analysing and reporting on compliance management strategies.
Deep knowledge and understanding of the Government Information (Public Access) Act 2009 (GIPA) and privacy and health legislation.

About the role:

The client is undertaking a Dynamics Upgrade Project to support a priority initiative that will increase the stability and supported life of the application while gaining business knowledge that will inform future design and support decisions.

They are seeking an experienced CRM Technical Specialist to lead critical Microsoft Dynamics CRM upgrade projects and provide ongoing technical expertise as the organization evaluates its long-term CRM strategy. This is a hands-on technical role responsible for migrating our on-premises CRM environments from legacy versions to Dynamics 365 V9.0, while supporting strategic planning for potential cloud migration

Responsibilities:

Lead the migration of Microsoft Dynamics CRM 2016 (Internet Facing Deployment) to Dynamics 365 V9.0 on-premises
Plan and execute upgrade of CRM 2015 (internal deployment) to V9.0 following initial migration success
Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing customizations, plugins, workflows, and integrations
Develop and execute migration strategies with minimal business disruption
Perform pre-migration assessments, data validation, and post-migration testing
Work with development team to assess and ensure compatibility of existing ASP.NET applications that integrate with CRM database
Install, configure, and deploy Microsoft Dynamics CRM/365 solutions (on-premises and cloud)
Design and implement CRM customizations including entities, forms, workflows, business process flows, and plugins
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support
Work collaboratively with infrastructure team on CRM architecture and deployment requirements
Implement security models, role-based access controls, and data governance
Coordinate with development team on maintaining and enhancing external applications that interface with CRM
Provide technical assessments comparing platform capabilities, migration complexity, and TCO
Support proof-of-concept initiatives for potential platform transitions
Document current state architecture, customizations, business processes, and external integrations
Contribute to future-state CRM roadmap aligned with organizational needs

Experience

5+ years hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM (versions 2013-2016 and Dynamics 365)
Proven experience in CRM on-premises installations, upgrades, and migrations
Critical: Experience with Internet Facing Deployment (IFD) configurations and claims-based authentication
Strong knowledge of ADFS integration and external user authentication scenarios
Experience managing both internal and external-facing CRM deployments
Strong knowledge of Dynamics 365 V9.0+ architecture and Unified Interface
Expertise in CRM customization: forms, views, entities, workflows, business rules, JavaScript
Experience with plugin development using C# and the CRM SDK
Proficiency in CRM SDK, Web API, and integration patterns
Experience with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps)
Understanding of how external applications integrate with CRM (database-level and API-based) - development support available from internal team
Working knowledge of SQL Server (database concepts, basic queries, backup/recovery understanding)
Understanding of Windows Server, IIS, and Active Directory concepts

Oversight of a beef-only processing operation
A full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime when production requires

Key Requirements

Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing
Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, regulatory standards, and export compliance
Leadership experience managing QA teams or supervisors
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Meat industry or primary processing experience (highly regarded)

As Land Use Investigations Officer, you will join the existing team in a long-term role right from the off. Starting ASAP, this position will extend onwards until the end of November at the very earliest and is very likely to be ongoing past this into 2027.

In this role, you will play a key role in the protection of the local Environment in the Logan region. Being the key liaison between ongoing development in Logan and the protection of the environment/community, you will have a busy and interesting workload to get stuck into. Every day will be different and include the following duties:

Enforce the provisions of the planning scheme and the Sustainable Planning Act 2009 as a regulatory function of the development
assessment process.
Investigate, interview, gather evidence with a community education focus and formulate action with regards to the legislation
available in relation to alleged offences under the planning scheme:
- The investigation of allegations of activities as contained in the “defined users” in the town planning scheme.
- Investigations of allegations regarding land use outside the purpose definitions.
- Complaints arising from the existence of a Council approved activity.
- Complaints arising from activities outside of the approval conditions.
Liaise with owners, developers, contractors, builders, town planners, etc with respect to current or projected land use inconsistencies with the planning scheme and provide a quality direction for their future compliance.
Provide quality customer service in all dealings with all customers of the Branch.
Commence enforcement actions with regards to the planning scheme, local laws and subordinate local laws by issuing show cause
notices, enforcement notices, verbal direction compliance notices and where appropriate infringement notices.
Prosecution of offences where directed by Council including the giving of evidence in a Magistrates Court and Planning and
Environment Court.

Formal qualifications, such as the Associate Diploma - Built Environment or similar would be an advantage.
Knowledge of the Sustainable Planning Act 2009, Town Plan documents and Policies and ability to read and assess Building
Plans / Development Plans is desirable.
Proven ability to conduct inspections and investigations on a community level, and produce effective outcomes within the
parameters of relevant Legislation, relevant Local Laws and Council policies.
Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels
and from all backgrounds and the ability to act tactfully in sometimes very sensitive situations.
Excellent written communication skills and a demonstrated ability to formulate concise and accurate written reports and
correspondence.
Proven ability to operate a computer to access and retrieve data in accordance with the Council’s requirements and procedures.
Ability to maintain effectiveness and motivation when required to do so and the ability to respect and accept requests, directions
and workforce change from Supervisory staff with a positive, team-oriented attitude.
Excellent organisational skills, the ability to focus on specific tasks
