Osborne Richardson are delighted to be assisting a great team in a local council with an Infringement Review Officer. This will be a 6 month contract, with potential to extend.
The purpose of the role is to conduct independent internal reviews of Council issued infringement notices, making evidence-based review decisions in a way consistent with the principles of the Infringements Act 2006 and Attorney General Guidelines.
In addition to the key aspect of internal review/appeals, the position will also be required to process driver nominations, payment plans, lodgements to Fines Victoria, penalty reminder notices and support Council’s general infringement management.
We're looking for candidates with experience in a similar position, or very strong transferrable experience.
