Osborne Richardson are delighted to be partnering with a fantastic State Government client, to bring them an AO7 Site Safety Officer. This will be an initial contract until February 2026, with the potential to be extended further.

Based in Wacol, you’ll support construction and maintenance works across government assets — ensuring every site meets the highest safety standards.

In this role, you’ll:

• Lead and promote a proactive safety culture across multiple worksites.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Provide advice, training, and support to ensure WHS compliance.
• Liaise with contractors, project teams, and stakeholders to resolve safety issues.
• Assist with incident reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we’re looking for:

• Previous experience in similar role managing workplace health and safety on large commercial building projects for the principal contractor.
• Strong understanding of WHS legislation and standards.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Diploma in Workplace Health & Safety General Construction.
• Induction White card
• Current driver’s licence.
