About the Role
Reporting to the Group Manager – Quality Assurance, you will lead the site’s quality and food safety function across two shifts (day and night). You will also have:
- Two Direct Reports (QA Supervisors)
- A broader team of QA staff operating across day and night shift
- Responsibility for maintaining and improving all site quality systems, auditing, compliance, and customer requirements
- Oversight of a beef-only processing operation
- A full-time, permanent position working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday overtime when production requires
- Demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance within food manufacturing
- Strong understanding of BRC, HACCP, regulatory standards, and export compliance
- Leadership experience managing QA teams or supervisors
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Meat industry or primary processing experience (highly regarded)
- $135,000 – $150,000 + Super
- Relocation assistance for candidates moving to the region
