If you like to be out and about in the local community, this is the job for you. Opportunities usually start off as 2-3 month contracts, but are likely to extend beyond this and become ongoing.

General duties and responsibilites in these roles include:
- Enforcing parking regulations throughout the city through conducting patrols and issuing parking infringement notices.
- Maintaining and operating handheld devices/computers/body worn cameras and other associated parking technology equipment in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures processes and other relevant guidelines.
- Enforcing and educating the community on issues relating to enforcement of parking regulations.
- Assisting in the removal of abandoned vehicles as required.
- Reporting damage to Council assets, including damaged signs, incidents of graffiti and general items of infrastructure.
To be successful in these roles, you should be able to demonstrate the following key skills, knowledge and experience:
- Knowledge of, or ability to gain the knowledge of the Local Government Act 1989, Road Safety Act 1986 and other relevant regulations, Road Safety Road Rules 2017 and Council’s Amenity Local Law.
- Experience in justice administration, public administration, law enforcement, customer service or other related fields.
- Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, including the ability to prepare letters, reports, memoranda and briefs of evidence.
- Current driver’s licence.
- Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
