About the role:

As the Senior Product Reporting Analyst, you will provide high‑level analytical and reporting support to the Product function, enabling evidence‑based decision‑making and effective governance across the product and project portfolio.

Working closely with Product Managers, delivery teams, Finance and other key stakeholders, you will analyse project delivery, financial and risk‑based information and translate complex data into clear, accurate and timely insights for senior leadership and Executive reporting.

This role has a strong focus on leveraging JIRA‑based project data, financial analysis and Power BI dashboards to support transparency, prioritisation and performance monitoring across the product portfolio.

Responsilities:

• Provide strategic project and product portfolio reporting to support effective governance, decision‑making and accountability across the Product function.
• Extract, analyse and interpret delivery data from JIRA to report on project progress, milestones, dependencies, risks and issues.
• Analyse and report on financial reconciliations, budgets, forecasts and expenditure at a project and portfolio level, ensuring alignment between delivery and financial performance reporting.
• Design, develop and maintain high‑quality Power BI dashboards and reporting artefacts that present complex project, financial and risk‑based information in a clear and accessible format for senior leaders and executives.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc reports, dashboards and briefing materials for governance forums, senior leadership and Executive stakeholders.
• Identify trends, variances and emerging risks across product and project data, providing insights and recommendations to support informed decision‑making.
• Work collaboratively with Finance, Digital, delivery teams and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, integrity and consistency of data used for reporting purposes.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting frameworks, methodologies and tools across the Product function.

Experience:

• Product and project reporting expertise
  Demonstrated experience delivering high‑quality product, project or portfolio‑level reporting, including the ability to analyse delivery, financial and risk data and present accurate, timely insights to senior leadership and Executive stakeholders.
• JIRA data analysis and reporting
  Demonstrated experience using JIRA or equivalent delivery management tools to extract, analyse and interpret project data, including progress, dependencies, risks and issues, and translate that information into meaningful reports and dashboards.
• Financial analysis and reconciliation capability
  Demonstrated experience analysing project financials, including budgets, forecasts, expenditure and reconciliations, with the ability to identify variances, trends and risks and clearly communicate financial impacts to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Executive‑level dashboards and data visualisation
  Demonstrated experience designing and delivering Power BI dashboards and reporting artefacts that present complex product, project, financial and risk‑based information in a clear, accessible and executive‑ready format to support decision‑making and governance.
• Advanced analytical and communication skills
  Demonstrated high‑level analytical, conceptual and problem‑solving skills, combined with strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective collaboration with product, delivery, finance and senior stakeholders in a complex and changing environment. 
• Demonstrated experience in product, project or portfolio reporting, including financial analysis and performance reporting.
• Experience using JIRA, Confluence and Power Bi to develop reports and dashboards
