Osborne Richardson is delighted to be working with a fantastic council in Melbourne to offer opportunities as a Parking Officer. 

If you like to be out and about in the local community, this is the job for you. Most contracts start out for 3 months, with options to extend, giving you excellent career opportunities.

An average day as a Parking Officer looks like:
  • Enforcing parking regulations throughout the city through conducting patrols and issuing parking infringement notices.
  • Maintaining and operating handheld devices/computers/body worn cameras and other associated parking technology equipment.
  • Enforcing and educating the community on issues relating to enforcement of parking regulations.
  • Assisting in the removal of abandoned vehicles as required.
  • Reporting damage to Council assets, including damaged signs, incidents of graffiti and general items of infrastructure.

To be considered for these exciting positions, we're looking for people with:
  • Excellent customer service and conflict resolution skills.
  • A background in compliance would be advantageouus.
  • Confidence in deescalating confronting situations. 
  • Great work ethic and ability to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent fitness levels, as the role involves a lot of walking.
  • Current driver’s licence.
