The Role
Reporting to the Principal Engineer, you will:
- Develop and manage forward maintenance programs for road and drainage assets
- Lead a small team of technical staff and inspectors
- Analyse asset data and condition reports to inform works planning
- Support budgeting, forecasting and service improvement initiatives
- Contribute to contract management, specifications and tender evaluations
- Provide technical advice and support to delivery teams
- Drive innovation and continuous improvement across maintenance practices
About You
To be successful, you will have:
- Degree in Engineering (or equivalent experience)
- Strong experience in road or civil infrastructure maintenance
- Proven ability in asset management and works programming
- Experience leading teams and managing stakeholders
- Strong analytical, planning and problem-solving skills
- Experience with GIS, asset systems or similar tools (desirable)
- RPEQ (or ability to obtain within 12 months) highly regarded
