Osborne Richardson is seeking an experienced Animal Management Officer for a short-term local government contract, supporting council operations in delivering animal management, compliance, and community safety services.

This role will see you responding to animal-related complaints, conducting patrols, investigating incidents, and enforcing relevant legislation while delivering strong customer service outcomes to the community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to animal-related complaints and customer requests
• Conduct patrols and investigate nuisance animal matters
• Enforce relevant legislation and issue notices where required
• Safely impound and manage animals when necessary
• Prepare accurate reports and compliance documentation
• Provide education to the community around responsible pet ownership

About You:

• Previous experience in animal management, local laws, ranger services, or compliance
• Strong animal handling skills
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and enforcement processes
• Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
• Current driver’s licence essential
