Description:
Project Lead (Technical) - Logan City Council
Location: 150 Wembley Road, Logan Central, 4114
Duration: ASAP through to 27th December 2024
Salary: $74 per hour plus super
Overview:
In late-2023, Logan City Council's Asset Steering Committee, part of the Asset Management Service Delivery Coordination Team, endorsed a revised Asset Ownership Model. This model is central to a comprehensive review of infrastructure asset roles and responsibilities, aiming to align these roles with the asset management lifecycle across the organisation. The focus is on transitioning and realigning asset roles and responsibilities to support the realisation of anticipated benefits.
Role and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Strategic Data and Asset Management Program Leader within the Enterprise Portfolio Management Office, the Project Lead (Technical) will play a pivotal role in this transition. The position involves engaging with key stakeholders across the organisation and the Asset Management Service Delivery Coordination Team to identify and deliver necessary projects and activities. The role demands strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and technical expertise.
Key Skills and Experience:
Project Management: Experience in developing governance frameworks, managing a portfolio of projects with broad strategic engagement, and solving complex problems requiring strategic thought and independent judgment.
Stakeholder Engagement: Proven ability to deliver transformational projects and build mutually beneficial relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Technical Expertise: Skilled in continuous improvement, prioritising work demands, meeting deadlines, and preparing quality reports and documentation.
Additional Information:
While the current rate is $74 per hour plus super, there may be flexibility for the right candidate, though this is subject to further discussion.
This role is ideal for candidates with experience in organisational-wide business change projects, particularly those with a strong strategic focus rather than solely IT or infrastructure projects. If you're passionate about leading impactful projects and driving organisational transformation, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the future of Logan City Council's asset management strategy.
