Reporting to the Site Operations Manager, your role will be to lead and develop a small team of QA professionals ensuring all products produced are safe, of high quality, to specification, and compliant with various customer and certification standards.

Typical duties include:
Manage and further develop the QA team
Lead internal and external audits
Provide technical advice to production and other key site stakeholders
Ensure raw materials and finished goods are of the highest standard
Investigate, resolve and respond to customer complaints and NCRs
Oversee product specifications, labelling and compliance
Oversee on microbiology testing
Assist with the implementation of other QMS as required
Other duties as required
To give yourself the best chance of being considered for this opportunity, please ensure your resume meets the following criteria:
Qualifications in food science or technology (or related with experience)
Demonstrated experience in a Senior Quality Assurance food manufacturing role
Track record of improving quality systems and overall product quality
Strong knowledge of HACCP, BRC, WSE, CFMSR etc. is highly regarded
Knowledge and exposure to product packaging and NPD
Internal auditor certified
Strong understanding of HACCP and GMP
Interpersonal skills, strong time management, and high attention to detail
