Are you a qualified and experienced Food Technologist ready to take the next step in your career? We’re currently partnering with a leading food manufacturer based in Brisbane’s southern suburbs who is seeking a Senior Food Technologist with a strong background in New Product Development (NPD), ideally within powdered foods or nutritional supplements.

About the Role
In this hands-on and collaborative role, you’ll lead and manage NPD projects from concept through to launch. Working closely with cross-functional teams, you'll develop innovative, market-ready products that align with both customer needs and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage NPD projects from concept to commercialisation
Formulate and trial new products, primarily in the powdered/nutritional supplement category
Collaborate with procurement, production, QA, and marketing teams
Ensure compliance with FSANZ and relevant food safety standards
Optimise existing products and processes for continuous improvement
Stay abreast of market trends, ingredients, and consumer insights

About You
Degree qualified in Food Science or related field
Minimum 5 years’ experience in food manufacturing, with a focus on NPD
Previous experience working with powdered products or nutritional supplements is highly desirable
Strong understanding of food regulations and labelling requirements
Excellent project management and communication skills
Creative, solutions-focused, and passionate about innovation
