Osborne Richardson is pleased to partner with a leading food manufacturing cleaning company that is currently seeking a Site Manager. Two vacancies are available, one in Laverton, Victoria, and the other in Newcastle, NSW. The roles are based at poultry manufacturing sites.
This is a great opportunity for a suitably experienced commercial cleaner looking to take the next step in their career.
This role will be responsible for the following tasks whilst working in conjunction with the Site Administrator, Site Supervisors, Team Leaders and Chemical Handlers:
• Service delivery
• Training and induction of all staff/stakeholders
• Health and Safety
• Building client and stakeholder relationships
• Managing large on-site cleaning teams
Manufacturing Site Information:
Laverton, Victoria
This is a permanent part-time position (with the option for casual) for 3 or 4 days per week, working 10:00 pm to 6:00 am each shift. The role involves managing a cleaning team of approximately 12 staff at a ready-to-eat site with a single production line.
Newcastle, NSW
This is a full-time, permanent position with hours from Monday to Friday, 10:00 pm to 6:00 am. The role is based at a fresh produce site with an abattoir, overseeing the hygiene of three production lines and managing a team of around 22 staff.
This role implements the hygiene strategy, ensures high performance, and adheres to production schedules. Key duties include executing pre-operational cleaning tasks in partnership with Quality Assurance, overseeing general GMP practices, managing stock and chemicals, and ensuring the proper use of personal protective equipment.
To be considered for the position:
• 2 years of current experience in a commercial cleaning manufacturing environment
• Highly organized with excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Well presented, trustworthy, and reliable with ethical standards
• High level of computer literacy
• A self-starter who is flexible + strong management skills
• Must have own car and clean licence
• Physically fit
