Our pubic sector client is in urgent need of a Senior Project Manager (construction/contracts) to oversee a number of active projects, at varying stages of progression.

Specifically the role will focus on

Client Management
Programming
Cost Reporting and Procurement

While direct responsibilities will involve:

• Taking overall project responsibility by procuring and then engaging with design consultants, design workshops and meeting client needs.
• Progress into procurement management and engagement of relevant contracts by developing tender packages, facilitating site inspections, addenda’s, queries and clarification management through the procurement team.
• Upon construction commencement, lead the organisation of the appointed contractors by auditing progress, design management and reporting on progress, safety, quality and assisting with cost reporting and contract management.
• Client updates and internal reporting will be required by utilising Microsoft suite of applications and internal cost mechanisms.

This role would suit a person with strong industry experience in construction, procurement and contract administration
A relevant Tertiary education would be highly regarded
